Description
Businesses handling large quantities of UK cash will often receive a mixture of Bank of England, Scottish and Northern Irish banknotes. Separating these notes manually before counting can add unnecessary time to the reconciliation process.
The ASYS AL Series removes this additional step. Cashtec supplies the machine with all current Bank of England, Scottish and Northern Irish sterling banknotes installed within one combined UK Sterling configuration.
Bank of England, Scottish and Northern Irish banknotes can be mixed together in the same stack. The ASYS AL Series recognises the currency family and denomination of each supported note before calculating the quantity and value.
Its two-pocket design allows accepted notes to pass into the main stacker while suspect, unrecognised or unfit notes are diverted into the separate reject pocket. This allows counting to continue without repeatedly stopping the machine.
The ASYS AL Series also examines the physical condition of banknotes and includes a dedicated 12-channel Tape Detection System. This makes it suitable for businesses that need to identify banknotes that may be unsuitable for recirculation, ATM preparation or other cash-processing requirements.
