Description
Counting mixed UK banknotes manually can be slow, particularly when Bank of England, Scottish and Northern Irish notes must be separated before processing.
The Cashtec CT1900 solves this problem by combining all three banknote families within one UK Sterling counting mode. Notes can be placed into the hopper together, and the machine identifies each denomination before calculating the total quantity and value.
Its single Contact Image Sensor scans the banknote’s printed design and denomination. Additional ultraviolet, magnetic and infrared sensors examine multiple security features and alert the operator when a suspect note is detected.
The CT1900 also supports Euro and US Dollar banknotes, making it suitable for retailers, hospitality businesses, bureaux de change and other organisations handling more than one currency.
