Reconciling several cash drawers manually can take a considerable amount of time and make it difficult to keep individual results organised.
The Safescan 6175 speeds up the process by automatically calculating the quantity and value of each banknote and coin denomination. Auto Add creates a running total, while Auto Next advances to the following denomination when the money is removed from the platform.
Each completed count can be stored in the machine’s internal memory and linked to a personal three-digit reference number. This allows results to be associated with a particular till, employee, shift or department.
The machine also includes a reference-counting function for non-cash items. Vouchers, coupons, tokens and chips can be assigned an individual value and saved for future counting.
Results can be viewed on the large LCD display, printed using the optional Safescan TP-230 thermal printer or exported to a computer using the included Safescan Money Counting Software.
